FloFitness began January 2015 and is continuing to grow and develop with new classes and workshops. FloFitness delivers professional group classes, corporate and 1-2-1 training in various styles of Dance, Yoga and Fitness across Malvern and Worcester. All classes are open to the absolute beginner through to the experienced yogi, dancer or fitness enthusiast.
FloFitness delivers the general yoga classes at Matrix Fitness who kindly invited us to move there as a base for yoga in Malvern and Eden Centre. At the moment we ask you have your own equipment for classes, this helps us keep the venues and props Covid-19 free.
The pre & postnatal classes all now take place outside on Malvern Link common and at the Eden Centre which can be found next door to Malvern Spa. There is plenty of parking there and you will find us upstairs in the Wigglesworth room.
Zumba Gold and Dance Mix Gold both run at Cecilia Hall at the beautiful Cecilia Ballet School in Great Malvern. This space is perfect for these dance fitness classes. There is no immediate parking however there are plenty of parking spaces around the area.
Kym Lane who founded FloFitness is an experienced teacher who has been teaching Dance since 2008 and Yoga since 2015. Kym has also performed in various styles of dance locally with different groups. Her training began with Ballroom & Latin and continued through to University studying Contemporary Dance. Kym has gained many qualifications along the way including Zumba, group exercise and Level 3 Personal Training. Kym holds 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa, Pre & Postnatal, Kids Yoga and Yin Yoga teaching qualifications.
Jess began practicing yoga while living in New Zealand and soon decided to travel to India to become immersed in the lifestyle and culture, and undertake 200hr TTC + 100hr advance training in, Goa. More recently Jess has added Yin Yoga to her teaching qualifications. Jess whole heartily believes in a balanced lifestyle of work & play which is reflected in her fun yet challenging Vinyasa flow classes, encompassing dynamic vinyasa sequences and restorative stretches with music to fit each mood.
Fiona believes being at ease with your trainer and feeling comfortable and relaxed is critical to a successful training plan. Exercise should be fun and enjoyable, not just a means to an end.
Fiona is a qualified Pilates and personal trainer, with experience running high impact aerobics classes as well as Pilates.
Fiona has worked with clients who have benefited enormously from Pilates; from a client not being able to get up from the floor without assistance to all offering pain relief and mobility improvements.
Fiona is passionate about teaching and feels truly and genuinely rewarded whenever she receives positive feedback about how Pilates has improved her client’s lives.
