Join Kym and Anna for a morning of Yoga and introduction to hypnobirthing. We are offering you a morning to escape the '9-5' and look after yourself and bump.
Kym will guide you through 60 minutes of Pregnancy Yoga, a nice gentle yoga flow carefully adapted for you and bump, explore breathing techniques and poses to help you in labour and birth. This will finish with relaxation and time for you to wind down and rest.
There will be a break for teas and coffees along with homemade cakes and treats before moving into your introduction to hypnobirthing.
Hypnobirthing is a birth preparation course to help you feel relaxed and ready for birth. It isn’t airy fairy nonsense, but is a practice based on science and evidence and yes we talk about breathing and yes we love twinkly lights and soft music but the reason for that is down to the biology of the body and the science of the mind and that is why this tool is so effective!
During Anna's workshop you will find out what hypnobirthing is and more importantly what it isn't, we will explore how we feel about birth, where those feelings come from and why they matter, you will learn about the uterus and start to trust in your body (which is amazing by the way), Anna will share with you some tips to help you to have a calmer birth experience and we will finish the session with a lovely relaxation.
You can join us throughout any part of your pregnancy along as your GP or midwife is happy for you to do some gentle exercise.
