Join Kym and Angela for an afternoon escape. Enjoy a 60 minute yoga flow, nourishing snacks finishing with a nutrition workshop.
During your yoga session Kym will guide you through a gentle flow focusing on relieving prenatal symptoms such as lower back pain, tight shoulders and strengthening the legs. We will look at breathing techniques which can be used during labour and birth and we will focus on pelvic floor exercises. We will finish the flow with an extended savasana (relaxation).
Angela is a qualified nutritional therapist, with a naturopathic nutrition diploma from The College of Naturopathic Medicine. At the pre-natal nutrition workshop, Angela will cover the most important nutrients for the health of mum and baby through pregnancy, what the baby needs to grow and develop, how diet can influence the future health of your baby and what mum will need to sustain energy through the birth. We will cover nutrients to help and support common health complaints in pregnancy and discuss how to design a nutrient dense balanced diet to maximise health.
You can join this workshop from between 14 and 41 weeks, it is advised you speak to your GP or midwife before attending. All mats and props are provided and there is plenty of parking. This workshop is £30pp.
